FFW is a fun one-day fly fishing event that provides informative seminars to promote fly fishing, broaden skills, and promote cold water conservation. It’s the largest fly fishing event in Upstate New York! Multiple seminars are offered each session so that participants can choose based on their interests.    We cover everything from trout, bass, saltwater, fly tying, casting, rod building, leaders, knot tying, and more.       

There will be fly tying demos, a community fly tying table, casting demonstrations, casting clinics, industry vendor exhibits, local guides, FOOD TRUCKS, LIVE MUSIC and GREAT RAFFLE PRIZES!!

This year we are expanding our Conservation Outreach to include more family friendly hands-on education. We’re honored to have WXXI Kids Outdoor Resources, RIT Collaborative for Plastic & the Environment, Finger Lakes PRISM, and the entire event will be low waste thanks to Impact Earth Composting!
