The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) will conduct their rainbow trout run sampling at Naples Creek, Ontario County, on March 19, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Sampling starts on State Route 245 bridge, 0.25 miles east of Route 21 junction in the Village of Naples.

The annual rainbow trout sampling draws a large public audience. Spectators are encouraged to observe safely as they enjoy this educational experience.
